Your Droitwich and Worcester pharmacy times for the Easter bank holiday weekend

PEOPLE are being urged to make sure they know what medical services are available to them if they fall ill or become injured over the bank holiday weekend.

Here are the opening times for pharmacies which can offer expert and confidential advice and treatment for many minor health problems.

On Good Friday, Boots in Droitwich is open from 8.30am to 6pm and Boots, Worcester, is open from 8am to 6pm. Asda Pharmacy, Worcester, is open from 9am to 6pm. Kitsons Pharmacy, Worcester, is open from 9am to 5.30pm and Superdrug, Worcester, is open fromm 8.30am to 5.30pm.

On Easter Sunday, Knights on Market Street in Bromsgrove is open from midday to 3pm. Kitsons Pharmacy, Worcester, is open from 9am to 6pm.




And on Easter Monday, Boots in Droitwich is open from 10am to 4pm and Boots in Worcester is open from 9am to 5pm. Asda, Worcester, is open from 9am to 6pm.

Bromsgrove’s Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital is also open as usual – 8am to 8pm on Friday and Monday and 12pm to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday. Last appointments are at 7.30pm.


Patients are also reminded they can get advice on the free 24-hour-a-a-day, seven-days-a-week NHS 111 by visiting 111.nhs.uk or by calling 111.
