Barley Mow five clear - Droitwich Pool League latest

BARLEY Mow opened up a five-point lead at the top of the Mid-West Premiership in the Droitwich Pool League after an 8-1 rout of Pillar of Dreams.

In all, four teams at the top of the division recorded victories in week 11, with the leaders running out with the result of the night.

Second-placed Masons Chalked Up keep themselves in touching distance with their 6-3 win over The Hop Pole, while Never in Salted recorded a sixth victory of the campaign in an entertaining 7-2 encounter against The Doverdale Arms.

The Dovey now sit bottom after slipping to a 6-3 defeat to fourth-placed Salt ‘n’ Asbo’s, while DWMC’s win by the same scoreline against Rifle No Mans allowed them to rise from the foot of the table into 11th position.

The Star & Garter moved up one place to tenth after edging The Pillar of Salt by a single frame in a 5-4 victory.
