THE LATEST Thursday afternoon open at Alvechurch Fisheries saw just one fish separate the first and second placed anglers.

Warren Beech (peg 24) proved victorious fishing pole and banded pellet at 14.5m on to the shallow bar to net carp up to 8lb and stockies for a winning weight of 86lb 2oz.

He edged out fellow Alvechurch Fisheries-sponsored angler Danny Tresigne (peg 11) who also fished the pole and pellets shallow up to the island for carp and stockies to weigh 83lb 15oz for second place.

The duo’s club-mate Adam Heath (peg 28) fished pellet waggler with 8ml banded pellet on the hook up to the island for 56lb 12oz of carp and stockies to claim third place.




Fast Feeders man Craig O’Brien (peg 34) was fourth as he caught on the pole and paste at 7m to net carp and stockies as he weighed 53lb 1oz.
