Bishop storms to victory at latest round of Woodland View Saturday Open

PHIL BISHOP claimed first place at the latest round of the Preston Innovations Woodland View Fishery Saturday Open.

Bishop (Maver), fishing short on feeder then corn and pellet down the edge from peg 35 at the Back Deans Pool, finished with a total haul of 122.6lbs to take victory.

Mike Edge (Starlet Veterans) had 94lbs from peg 55 with John Stone (Bilston Angling) third with 92lbs from peg 39 and Paul Foster (Starlet Veterans) fourth with 78lbs from peg 43.

On Sunday at High Pool, Lee Cole (Bilston Angling) was the winner 150.8lbs from peg eight with Tranter (Woodlands) coming in second from peg 22 with a total haul of 142.4lbs.




Kevin Slade (Woodlands) came in a close third with a catch of 131lbs from peg 31 while Bishop came in fourth from peg 17 with his catch of 100lbs.
