TEAM Bristol Street Motors, based in Droitwich, just missed out on a podium finish in the latest round of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) at Snetterton.

After claiming a race win at Brands Hatch last time out, the Droitwich-based team looked to threaten the front of the grid again in wet conditions.

Bristol Street Motors driver Tom Ingram finished fourth in race three with Tom Chilton just behind in sixth while Ronan Pearson crossed the line in 18th.

That came after Chilton finished fifth in race two with Ingram 16th and Pearson 19th.

And Ingram also went close to a podium in race one after finishing sixth with Pearson 11th, Chilton 15th and Nick Halstead 20th.

Ingram remains third in the drivers’ standings with Team Bristol Street Motors second in the teams standings on 184 points.

The team return to the track at Thruxton on June 8 and 9 for the fourth race weekend of the BTCC season.
