Droitwich conceded just eight runs across the next five overs as Sam Woolley stumped Carl Whyte (2) off the bowling of the economical Martyn Davies (3-25).

Max Young (3-44) accounted for Kishor Patel (0) the following over before then taking the wicket of Syed Nizamudin (23).

The home side put on 30 runs for their sixth wicket as Davies eventually had Keygan Arnold (28) caught.

Akhtar Iqbal (2-13) was next to strike, removing both James Andrews (16) and Jack McDonnell (0) in consecutive balls.

Davies then trapped Jack Patchett (0) LBW before Young bowled Taylor Crannage (3) to bring an end to the Coombs Wood innings.

Spa made a solid start in reply as openers Davies (16) and Harry Butler (29) put on 39 runs for the opening wicket.

Nizamudin (1-19) eventually made the breakthrough with the wicket of Davies before Arnold (2-11) bowled Woolley (1).

Butler followed soon after, trapped LBW by Nizamudin, before Jez Hanson (2) departed LBW to Arnold to leave Spa on 71-4.

However, Young (37 not out) and James Nielsen (12) helped Spa to victory with five wickets to spare in the 27th over.
