THE SEARCH for new players has began at Droitwich Spa Cricket Club as they gear up for the start of their pre-season preparations.
The club’s winter nets commence at the Worcester Grammar School’s sports hall on Thursday, January 29 and will run until the beginning of April.
The sessions will take place between 8pm and 10pm and will give coaches the chance to assemble their squad ahead of the new campaign.
With Spa, who finished ninth in the Worcestershire County League’ Division One 1st XI last season, fielding four Saturday league sides this summer, cricketers of all standards are being invited to attend the sessions.
