FOLLOWING their surprise defeat to Bromsgrove last week, Droitwich Spa Ladies Firsts were looking to return to winning ways in Division One of the Worcestershire League at Stourport.
However, Spa suffered back-to-back defeats as they lost 3-1 with Jasmine Williams getting on the scoresheet for the visitors.
They will hope for a better result on Saturday when they entertain Old Halesonians (1.30pm start).
There was joy for the Ladies Seconds however in Division Three as they picked up their first three points of the season with a 4-0 victory over Worcester Fourths.
Worcester started brightly but failed to make their early pressure pay. Spa then began to push forward with Anna Weston scoring twice in the first half, finishing off some fine moves.
Emily Hassal then extended the advantage in the second half before Weston completed her hat-trick.
Victory moved Spa up to fourth.
