DROITWICH Men’s C were well beaten 5-1 by Herefordshire and Worcestershire League Division Four East leaders Pershore A.
Ollie Wall and Carlos Segura got the only win for Droitwich in an epic two-and-a-half hour match ending 6-7, 7-5, 6-4 before a straight sets defeat in their second.
Robin Jones and stand-in captain Dave Wicks lost their first match 3-6, 3-6 before a 0-6, 3-6 loss in their second.
Rich Clive and Ben Steel were also defeated in both of their matches 2-6, 2-6 and 6-7, 4,6.
