DROITWICH Rugby Club is holding a large rugby and community festival at the beginning of May which will attract hundreds of children and visitors.

On Sunday, May 1 from 10.30am, the Glyn Mitchell Memorial Ground on Hanbury Road will be hosting the event which will see sides ranging from under-sevens to the under-12s in action.

Teams from all over the Midlands will be attending the event with each age group competing in a respective plate and cup final.

As well as a feast of rugby, there will be a bouncy castle, a variety of stalls, a tombola and much more on show.

After the action ends around lunch time, the club house will be open to buy food and drinks.

Entry to the event costs £3 (£5 if using the car park) and includes a programme.
