DROITWICH Spa have announced their pre-season friendlies ahead of the forthcoming 2016/17 season.
The Saltmen begin their summer fixtures at home to Midland League Division One side Racing Club Warwick on Saturday, July 9 before making the trip to MFL Division Three side Alcester Town the following Tuesday.
Spa then welcome local rivals Bromsgrove Sporting to the King George Playing Fields on Saturday, July 16 before entertaining Darlaston Town of the West Midlands (Regional) League on Wednesday, July 27.
Spa complete their pre-season on Saturday, July 30 away to Pershore Town.
Saturday fixtures provisionally kick-off at 3pm with midweek game at 7pm.
Spa joint boss Wayne Oliver said: “We always choose a difficult pre-season. We don’t want easy games.
“Playing Bromsgrove is the highlight of our pre-season but all the games will give the lads something to aspire to.
“I’m not too bothered about results, it’s all about individuals and performances against difficult opposition.”
