DROITWICH Spa Cricket Club’s pre-season preparations are set to get underway this weekend, as the club invites new players to join for their 2019 season.
The club are fielding four Saturday senior sides in the new-look Worcestershire County League this season, in addition to a Sunday team – with league action kicking off on April 20.
New players to the area or looking for a club are invited to come down to weekly sessions, to try out for Spa, regardless of ability.
Droitwich hold indoor net practice sessions in the Keyes Sports Hall at Worcester’s Kings School – starting this Sunday (March 3) and taking place between 8pm to 10pm.
Sessions are set to take place over the next six weeks, when training will switch to outdoor play.
