FOR THE third time in eight days, the Oakwell Brewery Premiership champions Westcroft Cartel battled it out against Young & Old Ringers.
The previous encounters saw Ringers enjoy victories over Cartel and they made it a hat-trick of wins after coming from 4-3 down to win the Shadow Meadow Spring Cup 5-4.
The Ladies Knock-Out final was contested by last year’s champion Karen Bevan of Bells Belles and two-time winner Clare McGregor of The Dovey.
In a close contest which went down to the final frame, Clare took the title for a third time after clinching a 3-2 victory.
The Doubles Knock-Out final was a walkover for Craig Taylor of Young & Old Ringers and Lee West of Pillar of Salt due to the no show of Phil Green’s doubles partner Jay Robinson of Westcroft Cartel.
However, Green’s night did not end in total disappointment after he took the Singles Knock-Out title with the 3-0 defeat of Young & Old Ringers’ Connor Harper.
