DROITWICH Spa reached back-to-back play-off finals with an impressive 3-1 victory away at Allscott Heath.
Spa took the lead courtesy of Jack Brighton’s goal before a brace from James Lemon, either side of an Allscott strike, earned the Saltmen a fine victory at Shawbirch Road.
Droitwich will play OJM Black Country in the play-off final on Saturday, May 4.
The Saltmen finished three places and five points behind runners-up Allscott in the Midland Football League Division One table.
However, Spa broke the deadlock on 43 minutes when Brighton found the net before Lemon doubled the Saltmen’s lead two minutes later.
Allscott reduced the deficit just past the hour mark only for Spa to restore their two-goal advantage three minutes later as Lemon scored his second of the game.
Droitwich saw out the remaining minutes to reach a second play-off final in as many seasons as Andy Crowther’s side chase a first-ever promotion to Step Five.
