DROITWICH Spa will play in the Hellenic Football League Division One next season after the FA released the National League System (NLS) club allocations for steps one to six.
Spa suffered play-off final heartbreak for the second successive season last term after losing to OJM Black Country in the Midland Football League Division One play-off final.
And the Saltmen have now moved leagues laterally across Step Six after two seasons in the MFL Division One.
Spa are the only team to move laterally into the 22-team league while four teams achieved promotion from the step below, Carterton, Ludlow, Redditch Borough and Wellington.
Both Bewdley Town and Wantage Town drop into the Hellenic Football League Division One after suffering relegation last season.
The other teams Spa will come up against next season are: Abingdon United, Cheltenham Saracens, Chipping Sodbury Town, Clanfield 85, FC Stratford, FC Bristol, Kidlington FC Reserves, Long Crendon, Moreton Rangers, Newent Town, Shortwood United, Southam United, Sporting Club Inkberrow, Stonehouse Town and Tytherington Rocks.
All leagues are subject to FA Council ratification.
