DROITWICH Spa have released information to supporters ahead of next month’s highly-anticipated cup tie against Worcester City.

The two teams go head-to-head for the first time in a competitive match in the Worcestershire Senior Cup on Tuesday, October 18 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the King George Playing Fields.

Spa are making their first ever appearance in the competition.

Tickets will be priced at £6 for adults with concessions for under-18’s and over 65’s priced at £4 as per Worcestershire FA guidelines.

The club would like to stress that season tickets and sponsors season tickets will not be valid for the fixture.

There will also be no free admission for under-12’s and admission will be pay on the gate by either cash or card.

The club have highlighted the importance of arriving early, due to the large crowd expected, and are offering a pre-paid admission option which can be purchased from the outside bar on the night using cash only.

Droitwich plan to operate up to three turnstiles to help ease congestion all of which will be located at the clubhouse end of the ground.

The Pavillion Bar will only be open to home and away club officials and players as well as Droitwich sponsors.

Sponsors will be asked to present their sponsors season ticket on arrival, in order to gain access to the clubhouse, and must pay the aforementioned entrance fee with a cash only facility provided in the bar to make the payment.

The club will also be providing an outside Marquee Bar for spectators with a burger van and tea hut open as normal.

Free parking is available on a first-come first-served basis and is located behind the Leisure Centre next to the Astroturf pitches with the club still exploring options for overflow parking facilities.

Any Blue Badge holders will need to notify the club in advance to secure parking.

The main car park at the ground is strictly reserved for players, home, away and match officials only.

And the club would encourage spectators to make their way to the ground on foot or by public transport with Droitwich Train Station just a 10-minute walk away from the ground.

There will be a limited number of matchday programmes on sale for the fixture and spectators are advised to arrive early to secure their copy.
