DROITWICH Spa returned to the top of the table with a comfortable 3-0 home win against Hallen.
Spa took the lead courtesy of Josh Hurdman’s goal inside the first minute at the King George Playing Fields.
And late goals from substitutes James Lemon and Nathan Binner sealed the points for Andy Crowther’s side.
The result means Droitwich sit top of the Hellenic League Premier Division table, although all of the teams below them have at least one game in-hand.
Spa made the perfect start when Hurdman volleyed the ball into the net inside 60 seconds after good work from Perry Moss.
In a game of few chances, Hallen almost drew level 15 minutes from time only for Dom Rogerson to produce a fine save to deny Elliot Gardner when one-on-one.
And the visitors went close again as Gardner spurned another chance to draw Hallen level seven minutes from time.
Moments later Rogerson denied both Ryan Crawford and Harrison Fairman in quick succession.
However, Spa doubled their lead against the run of play on 87 minutes when Lemon finished Reiss Taylor-Randle’s cross from close range.
And the Saltmen made sure of the points deep into injury time as Hurdman beat the offside trap and squared to Binner who finished into an empty net.
Droitwich are next in action away at Cribbs on Saturday, September 6 with kick-off at 3pm at The Lawns.
