DROITWICH Spa have announced the signing of 22-year-old forward Lucas Edmonds from division rivals Cradley Town.

Droitwich boss Andy Crowther said: “Lucas is a player we know a lot about at Droitwich, and when he became available it was a signature that I snapped up.

“He gives us another option up top with his strength and speed and we look forward to seeing him in the spa colours again.”

The forward scored six goals in 16 games for Bromyard who he helped win the League Cup before netting seven times in 23 appearances for Smethwick.

He played eight games for Spa’s senior side in his first spell with the club having impressed at under-21 level.

Edmonds is available for Spa’s home match against Allscott Heath on Tuesday, February 13 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Kingy’s.
