FORMER Droitwich Spa High School student Alfie Chang has completed a deadline day transfer.
Chang has left League One title hopefuls Birmingham City to join League Two leaders Walsall on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has made 21 appearances for Blues’ first team after signing professional terms with Birmingham in July 2021.
He suffered a serious knee injury in August 2023 which kept him out for the entire 2023/24 season.
Chang’s only appearance for Blues this season came in the club’s 2-1 win against Lincoln City in the FA Cup third round.
He joins a Walsall side who sit seven points clear at the top of the League Two table with a game in-hand on the team below them.
