DROITWICH Spa’s rearranged Worcestershire Senior Cup quarter-final clash with Pershore Town has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
A heavy frost overnight and cold weather throughout the day has put pay to the fixture for the second time in the space of a week.
Following a pitch inspection in the afternoon, the referee deemed certain areas of Spa’s King George Playing Fields pitch unplayable.
The game was originally scheduled to be played on Tuesday, January 10 only for the game to be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
A new date for the cup tie will be announced in due course.
