THOMAS Blizzard, playing out of Droitwich Golf Club, came up two shots short of victory in the English Open for golfers with a disability.
Blizzard, aged 17, was the overnight leader at Kings Norton Golf Club after a 74-shot first round score.
However, Oliver Hirst-Greenham shot a sensational 72-shot second round score, compared to Blizzard’s 77, to seal the trophy by a two-shot margin.
Teenager Blizzard was two shots clear of Jack McCrindle and Matthew Bradshaw who tied for third place.
