Harrison on target as Droitwich Spa Over-35s continue excellent form

Correspondent 8th Nov, 2016 Updated: 8th Nov, 2016

JASON HARRISON was the hero as Droitwich Spa Over-35s continued their title challenge in the Central Warwickshire Over-35s League Division One.

Spa continued their good form when a Harrison tap-in sealed a 1-0 victory against Wilnecote OB.

Droitiwch remain second in the league, four points behind BAI Phoenix, who have played one game more.

Spa Over-50s suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of local rivals Pershore Town.

Spa lost their goalkeeper to injury midway through the first half and conceded two penalties to allow Pershore a comfortable 6-2 victory.

Spa goalscorers were Holdsworth and Imrie.

Meanwhile, the Over-35s are looking for a matchday team manager to look after in their Sunday morning matches. Contact Maurice Murphy on 07711 592879 for more details.
