HILL and Moor triumphed in this year’s angling event at the Wychavon Parish Games.
Some 14 Parishes took part in the event, sponsored by the Bait Box.
After the weighing took place, Hill and Moor emerged as the winners with Bretforton runners-up.
That meant Harvington finished third, with Eckington, Norton and Lenchwick and Badsey tied for fourth and previous winners Evesham Little Hampton in seventh.
The other Parishes to take part were Wick, Evesham Bengeworth, Broadway, Wyre Piddle, Inkberrow, Pebworth and Sedgeberrow.
And the knockout events have also been taking place with the final of the ladies darts, sponsored by the Valkyrie Bar, to take place later this month.
The next event to take place is table tennis, with two tournaments at St Egwin’s Middle School on Sunday, October 6.
