THE last one-day event of this year’s Wychavon Parish Games took place as a father and son partnership took the title.
Some 16 parishes took part in the senior table tennis event, sponsored by the late Bob Beswick.
And father and son pairing Simon and Ben Robinson from Harvington proved too strong for the competition.
In the junior competition, sponsored by Vic Haines Transport, Wyre Piddle overcame Eckington in the final.
And in the pool final, Bretforton beat Bredon as the game went down to the final leg at the Valkyrie Bar in Evesham.
The final of the crib pits Eckington against Bretforton later this month at Broadway Bowling Club.
And Evesham Bengeworth play Harvington in the skittles final later this month at Badsey Club.
