Ben Tyler 4th Oct, 2019

MASONS Chalked Up and Barley Mow remain locked at the top of the Mid-West Premiership after continuing their 100 winning starts to the Droitwich Pool League season.

A 5-4 victory over Star & Garter ensured all three points for The Masons, while Barley Mow’s margin of victory was much clearer in a 6-3 triumph over Rifle No Mans, ensuring both sides are level on frames won and lost in addition to their points tally.

Salt ‘n’ Asbo’s lie third, after becoming the first team to record a whitewash this season after a 9-0 thrashing of Wessie Wanderers. They still have game in hand on the top two.

The Dovey are the only side without a victory so far this term. They sit second bottom after a 6-3 defeat to Pillar of Salt, who incidentally recorded their first win at the fifth attempt.

DMWC, still looking to make up ground for their nine-point deduction, went down 8-1 to Never in Salted, while Doverdale Arms fell to their third successive defeat with a 6-3 loss to Hop Pole, who climb to sixth.
