DROITWICH Spa joint-boss Wayne Oliver says the club will take whatever points they can from a hectic end to their Midland League Division Two season.
The Saltmen will play six games over the next 12 days with a fixture away to Pelsall Villa yet to be scheduled.
Oliver’s and Mark Owen’s men entertain Knowle at Walshes Meadow – the home of Stourtport Swifts – tomorrow (Saturday) before entertaining Redditch Borough on Tuesday night.
They then travel to Northfield Town on Thursday night followed by the visit of Montpellier.
Trips to Moors Academy and Bloxwich Town on May 7 and 9 respectively then complete the league season.
“The amount of fixtures crammed into the end of the season has made a mockery of the campaign,” said Oliver.
“It’s just an absolute mess and everybody is in the same boat.
“It’s going to be really hectic but we will take whatever we can from those games.
“There’s still a chance of securing third but we have got some difficult games.
“We will stick to our target of top-six but if we can break into the top three that would be fantastic.”
