JOINT-BOSS Wayne Oliver was all smiles after Droitwich Spa secured a 4-1 home victory over Earlswood Town on Tuesday night.
Matthew Hunt, James Lemon, Nick Seabourne and Michael Seeley bagged the goals for the Saltmen who moved up to ninth in the Midland League Division Two table.
It was only the second time this season that Spa claimed a league win at Stourport Swifts’ Walshes Meadow, the club’s temporary home whilst ground works are done to improve the King George Playing Fields.
“I was pleased with the victory and it means we are three points closer to survival,” said Oliver.
“We played some decent stuff and it looked there was some confidence back among the lads.
“I do understand that Earlswood probably did not have their best side out but we can only beat what is in front of us.”
Spa have no fixture on Saturday but are back in action on Tuesday night when they entertain county rivals Fairfield Villa.
Only Chris Glover (hamstring) is unavailable for the derby clash.
