GORDON Shedden enjoyed another fine weekend in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) with a podium finish at Silverstone.
Shedden, racing for Droitwich-based outfit Team Dynamics, qualified in eighth in an extremely competitive and closely contested qualifying session.
And Shedden propelled himself up to fourth in race one before taking third place and a spot on the podium in race two and finished the weekend in eighth in the third and final race.
However, teammate Dan Rowbottom endured a difficult weekend as he recorded three 18th place finishes having qualified well down the field in 21st.
And Shedden now sits seventh in the driver standings on 245 points with Rowbottom 12th on 144 points.
The BTCC returns at Brands Hatch on the weekend of October 8 and 9.
