Strong display from Droitwich Dolphins at second round of Nuneaton League

DROITWICH Dolphins put on another strong display at the second round of the Nuneaton Junior League.

There were ten individual first places going to Will Colley, Natasha Lindsey, Ben Russell, Jasmine Day, Claude Rodrigues, Sam Grech, Sophie Peart, Jack Adams, Thomas Worth and Abbie Haldane.

There was also relay wins for the nine year boys Oliver Gould, James Lewis, Sam Grech and Thomas Worth (both medley and freestyle), the ten year boys freestyle team of Ben and Alex Russell, Jack Adams and Iwan Ward and the 12 year girls medley team of Lilia Barley, Jasmine Day, Jess Fox and Sophie Peart.

In addition there was 12 second places and ten third places for a final total of 220 points, just four ahead of Market Harborough.




Dolphins also achieved 15 personal bests.

The club are now looking forward to the next round where another strong finish should see them qualify for the finals in September as well as challenging for promotion to Division Two.
