DROITWICH Dolphins were hugely successful at a recent sprint open meet held in Wolverhampton.
It was organised by Shrewsbury ASC and 24 teams participated.
Dolphins took a team of 11 swimmers, ranging from ten to 15 year olds and came in sixth position overall.
A total of 28 top-three places were secured along with many personal bests achieved.
An exceptional swim from Patrick Florendo (13) meant he finished second overall in his age group after taking five first and three third placed finishes.
Other swimmers who medalled on the day were: Martha Stead, Lilia Barley, Jasmine Day, Anja Kristy, Felicity Quiney and Lemuel Florendo.
