MATT Richards won his second gold medal at the World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan as Great Britain stormed to victory in the 4x200m freestyle relay.
Richards added to his 200m freestyle gold with victory in the 4x200m freestyle relay alongside Duncan Scott, James Guy and Tom Dean.
The quartet won gold by 0.94 seconds ahead of United States of America and Australia who claimed silver and bronze respectively.
And after Scott made a strong start, Richards gave Britain the lead with a quick second leg before Guy and Olympic champion Dean produced solid swims to seal gold in a time of 6 minutes 59.08 seconds.
After winning Britain’s first gold of the Championships earlier in the week, Richards has now contributed to both of his country’s gold medals in Japan.
The 20-year-old won Olympic gold at Tokyo 2020 in the 4x200m freestyle and is a two-time European champion.
