DROITWICH Spa have announced the signing of former captain Matthew Hunt.
Hunt returns to the club after two years out of the game having previously been a fan favourite at Droitwich.
The defender made 119 competitive appearances for the club from 2015 to 2019, scoring 21 goals from centre back.
And Hunt provides another option at the back for Spa boss Andy Crowther with the defender renowned for his aerial presence and reading of the game.
He was an unused substitute during Spa’s 1-0 defeat against Dudley Town at the weekend and could make his debut in tonight’s clash against Shawbury United.
Hunt played for Southam United, Pershore Town and Worcester City before joining Droitwich back in 2015.
