CHARLEY VALLENDER once again fished his way to glory as he claimed back-to-back Preston Innovation Saturday Open victories at Woodland View Fishery.
Fishing at the Hay and Barley pools, Vallender (peg H3) fished short pellet to claim the winning mixed bag of 126lbs.
Rich Edmunds (peg B20) came in a close second with 120lbs 7oz while namesake Phil (peg B2) finished third with 112lbs 2oz.
Andy Powell (peg H15) took fourth with 107.4lbs.

After catching 229lbs 9oz last week, Newton (peg 57) fished short pellet over dead red to catch 208lbs 12oz to claim another well-deserved victory.
Nick Jukes (peg 35) narrowly missed out on top spot with 204lbs 10oz while Kev Slade (peg 10) finished third with his mixed bag of 185lbs.
Meanwhile, John Newton (peg 43) ended the day in fourth after catching 181lbs 4oz.
