Waseley Hills Year 7 win title

Waseley Hills High school year 7 boys football team have won the Kings Norton and South Birmingham Schools Football Association League Division 1B.

This league involved playing matches against other local schools in the area on a regular basis. The team played some excellent football on the way to winning the league and keeping a 100 per cent record in the process.

Throughout the season they scored 18 goals and only concededtwo.

Head of PE Mr Blount said: “It was great to see so much commitment and dedication from the boys, this coupled with some skillful performances has allowed us to win the league, I hope the boys are proud of themselves and I hope we can defend our title next year.”




The students involved in the team were: Charlie Day, Lewis Hewitt, Charlie Howard, Neil Wood, Josh Dipple, Kidd Cutler, James Yorke, Josh Walker, Josh Roberts, Harry Ormonde, Liam Mitchell, Josh Davies, Baker Watkins, Michael McShane, Taylor McGregor and Chris O’Donnell.
