MORE than a 100 members from ‘Worcestershire for Europe’ travelled to London to march for a ‘People’s Vote’ on Brexit.

Campaigners from both ‘Remain’ and ‘Leave’ joined forces on June 23 because they feel, regardless of how they voted, that the country is heading for a ‘botched Brexit’.

The march went from St. James Square to Trafalgar Square with key Remain figures such as MPs Caroline Lucas, David Lammy and Anna Soubry also supporting.

One local marcher said: “I decided to come at last minute because I am furious that my MP is saying there will be a Brexit dividend when all facts point to Brexit making us poorer.

“I signed the People’s Vote Petition to demand a vote on the Brexit deal because we have a democratic right to determine our own future.”
