APPEAL - £100,000 worth of goods stolen from Droitwich industrial estate

A HIGH value burglary in Droitwich has resulted in £100,000 worth of disabled shower units being stolen in what appears to be a calculated and measured theft.

West Mercia Police have released CCTV images of four suspects visiting a Hampton Lovett industrial estate on Saturday, January 13 between 4pm and 8pm to ‘prepare for the burglary’.

Then on Sunday, January 14 between 1am and 4am, suspects arrived back at the unit in a white van. A forklift truck was hotwired, and shower units were loaded into a van and stolen.

Detective Constable Mark Wilson from Worcester CID said: “We’re keen to speak to the men pictured as we believe they were in the area at the time and may be able to help with our enquiries.

“If you know who they are or have information about the burglary, then please let me know.

“Likewise, if you saw any suspicious activity in the area on the night the burglary happened or if you have dash cam footage that may have captured the van please get in contact.

“I would also ask that if you are offered a shower unit from someone other than a reputable seller to contact me.”

Contact DC Wilson by email [email protected] or by calling 101 using extension 7742162 to report information about the burglary or suspects.
