THE SIXTH-FORM students at Droitwich Spa High School have held their annual Remembrance event.
The names of the 168 soldiers from Droitwich who died in the First World War, Second World War and The Falklands were read aloud while staff and students looked on from the school’s amphitheatre.
Today is Armistice Day (November 11) where we mark the end of the First World War and Droitwich’s Remembrance Sunday parade will take place in the town centre with a service at the War Memorial in Victoria Square.
