Strap in for comedic thriller on theatre group's Artrix return

Droitwich Editorial 9th Jun, 2024   0

ALL AND SUNDRY will be back at Bromsgrove’s Artrix for the first time in years when they bring their production ‘Deathtrap’ to the venue’s studio theatre.

Performances of the Ira Levin classic comedic thriller, which is guaranteed to have audiences on the edge of their seats, take place from June 19 to 22.

The story centres on a washed-up old playwright who gets the opportunity to become famous once again, a shot he would literally be willing to kill for.

Filled with an abundance of plot twists, witty dialogue, and plenty of suspense, Deathtrap will provide a gripping theatrical experience which will leave those watching guessing until the end.

All and Sundry says it has pulled out all the stops this year with the cast for the show.

Alan Feeney stars as the formidable Sidney, who tries to steal a plot from the unsuspecting Clifford (played by Alex Johnson).

The remaining three parts in this small cast of just five are Laura Cooney, who plays Myra, Sidney’s long-suffering wife, Zena Schtyk playing the hilarious psychic Helga, and Matt Field as Porter.

Performances are at 7.30pm each evening.
