A TOTAL £4,374 has been raised so far after this year’s Tardebigge Big Breakfast for the Primrose Hospice and Cancer Research.
The event – organised by Bromsgrove Farmers’ Club and talking place at Tardebigge Community Hall – was back bigger and better after a two-year gap because of the pandemic.
Over 350 people enjoyed a breakfast in return for a donation to the cause and the coffers were boosted further with a tombola.
Helen Hirons, one of the organisers, said: “I think it’s the best one we’ve ever done – people gave so generously and we’ve still got more money coming in so I’m hoping we’ll get to £4,500.”
The Tardebigge Big Breakfast has now raised more than £54,000 for the two worthy causes.
And a separate collection was held to help the people of Ukraine which raised £238.
