Housing market on the increase in the West Midlands, according to survey

Droitwich Editorial 21st Jan, 2020   0

THE housing market in the West Midlands has seen an ‘increase in activity’ following the General Election result, according to the UK Residential Market Survey.

In December, 11 per cent of respondents saw a rise in the number of enquiries from new buyers, up from 0 per cent in November.

For the first time in six months the number of agreed sales were also on the increase.

That said, the market survey, which is used by the government and the Bank of England, predicts house prices will rise in the near future because of the increase in activity.
