THE PALM Sunday service at St Michael’s church in Salwarpe will be attended by a very special guest.
Jinx the donkey will be there on Sunday (March 20) to remind churchgoers that Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.
The event will begin at 10am with a procession from the Village Hall to remember Christ’s journey.
This will not be the first time Jinx, who is from Gloverspiece Minifarm, has visited the church, having once famously refused to budge when the Bishop of Worcester performed the service.
The service at the start of Holy Week will also feature communion.
Rev Nigel Byard said: ‘’We are very much looking forward to the service and hope Jinx is too.’’
